Assignment #5 Still life-Quincy

Requirement 1: Self Portrait
Chose the background bc it goes with the theme, chose the light a little darker so the belt buckles weren't to bright, chose the point of view to be looking at an upwards angle so I could catch what little light I did have.
f/2.4 1/20 ISO500 4mm

Requirement 2: A themed collection
I chose to have a blank background so it wouldn't take away from all the colors and patterns in the belts. Again low light bc of the shiny objects and I chose to take it at this angle bc straight on was boring.
f/2.4 1/15 ISO500 4mm
Requirement 3: Reflective Object
I chose the colorful background to add some drama. I had more light in this shot to brighten everything and make it look soft. I chose this angle for a more unique picture.
f/2.4 1/15 ISO400 mm

Requirement 3: Reflective
I chose a towel as a background to add some texture. I chose the lighting to be dark so the lights would glow through the glass.
f/2.4 1/20 ISO80 4mm

Requirement 4: Image manipulated
I chose to make this picture black and white, the lighting was dark except for the lamp shining down, I chose to have the yellow chick yellow and the background black and white so he would really stand out I used pic monkey
f/2.4 1/120 ISO50 4mm
Part 2: My choice
I chose a blank background so you can focus on all of the necklaces and the imperfections of the wood cross, I chose a bright light to make it soft and I took the photo and a side view to add some depth to the photo

Assignment #5 Still Life Emily

Part One

Self Portrait
I chose my cheetah blanket for my background because I love cheetah print and keeping warm with blankets. I then arranged some objects that describe my life. I used my build-a-bear because I love cute stuffed animals, and it's in a Patriots outfit, which is my favorite NFL team. I used my Patriots slippers because I love shoes. I put some candles in there because I like them. I put some of my sports medals in there because I enjoy sports and was good at them. I put a family photo in the middle because family is the most important thing to me. I also used some red solo cups because wherever there are red cups, there's a good time.  I just used the light in my room.
ISO: 320, Focal Length: 4mm, Shutter Speed: 1/20 sec, Aperture: f/2.2

 Themed Collection
Basketball
I love basketball. I made my theme with a basketball, my basketball warm-up shirt, my basketball shoes, a gatorade, a picture of my team, and another basketball shirt with the sleeve saying "Wildcat Pride." My background is a star quilt that I received from a girl named Trisha Longee at my districts basketball tournament my senior year. I used brighter lighting.
ISO: 320, Focal Length: 4mm, Shutter Speed: 1/17 sec, Aperture: f/2.2

Game Theme
For my second theme, I chose a game theme. My family loves getting together and playing games. I chose four of our favorite games and used some of the objects used to playing the game and set them around. I also put in some chips and drinks because you can't have game night without some refreshments! I used my kitchen curtains and table for the background because that's where the games are played. The lighting is bright to show that I love game night.
ISO: 160, Focal Length: 4mm, Shutter Speed: 1/30 sec, Aperture: f/2.2

Transparent and Reflective Objects
I used wine glasses because they're pretty. I also tried getting the mirror in. The background in my bathroom sink in the dorm. The lighting is dark to show the colors more.
ISO: 2000, Focal Length: 4mm, Shutter Speed: 1/15 sec, Aperture: f/2.2
Edited in Photoshop

 Enhanced Image
I really liked my red solo cup lights, so I found all the alcohol in my parents' house to enhance the background. It's enhanced because the background was completely dark, and then I plugged in the lights to light it back up and enhance the photo. My background is a zebra blanket because when you go out and party, you need to look good.
ISO: 640, Focal Length: 4mm, Shutter Speed: 1/15 sec, Aperture: f/2.2

Part Two: Sunset

I pulled over coming home and took this beautiful sunset picture.
ISO: 1250, Focal Length: 4mm, Shutter Speed: 1/15 sec, Aperture: f/2.2
