Assignment #5 Still Life Emily
Part One
Self Portrait
I chose my cheetah blanket for my background because I love cheetah print and keeping warm with blankets. I then arranged some objects that describe my life. I used my build-a-bear because I love cute stuffed animals, and it's in a Patriots outfit, which is my favorite NFL team. I used my Patriots slippers because I love shoes. I put some candles in there because I like them. I put some of my sports medals in there because I enjoy sports and was good at them. I put a family photo in the middle because family is the most important thing to me. I also used some red solo cups because wherever there are red cups, there's a good time. I just used the light in my room.
ISO: 320, Focal Length: 4mm, Shutter Speed: 1/20 sec, Aperture: f/2.2
Themed Collection
Basketball
I love basketball. I made my theme with a basketball, my basketball warm-up shirt, my basketball shoes, a gatorade, a picture of my team, and another basketball shirt with the sleeve saying "Wildcat Pride." My background is a star quilt that I received from a girl named Trisha Longee at my districts basketball tournament my senior year. I used brighter lighting.
ISO: 320, Focal Length: 4mm, Shutter Speed: 1/17 sec, Aperture: f/2.2
Game Theme
For my second theme, I chose a game theme. My family loves getting together and playing games. I chose four of our favorite games and used some of the objects used to playing the game and set them around. I also put in some chips and drinks because you can't have game night without some refreshments! I used my kitchen curtains and table for the background because that's where the games are played. The lighting is bright to show that I love game night.
ISO: 160, Focal Length: 4mm, Shutter Speed: 1/30 sec, Aperture: f/2.2
Transparent and Reflective Objects
I used wine glasses because they're pretty. I also tried getting the mirror in. The background in my bathroom sink in the dorm. The lighting is dark to show the colors more.
ISO: 2000, Focal Length: 4mm, Shutter Speed: 1/15 sec, Aperture: f/2.2
Edited in Photoshop
Enhanced Image
I really liked my red solo cup lights, so I found all the alcohol in my parents' house to enhance the background. It's enhanced because the background was completely dark, and then I plugged in the lights to light it back up and enhance the photo. My background is a zebra blanket because when you go out and party, you need to look good.
ISO: 640, Focal Length: 4mm, Shutter Speed: 1/15 sec, Aperture: f/2.2
Part Two: Sunset
I pulled over coming home and took this beautiful sunset picture.
ISO: 1250, Focal Length: 4mm, Shutter Speed: 1/15 sec, Aperture: f/2.2
